A skincare commercial shoot, 40-150 f2.8

Just to add to a more positive tone here, again I read a lot of comments about what the m43rds equipment is suitable for with often a lot of somber nodding that it is ideal as a second system, but a real professional would use (fill in the blank)...

I am in the middle of putting a lot of my better personal and commercial work shot with the format into a site to share specifically for m43rds shooters as examples of what has been, and is possible with this equipment.

For now I thought I would share a couple of visuals from a large skincare shoot the EM5.2 and EM5 we did and launched recently.

The breakdown of the shoot I will put up... But, as you can see, m43rds is perfectly capable of shooting for commercial skincare applications.

A superb local model. Always remember to arrange casting calls (if they show up for the casting call they are more likely to show up on the day) and to pick models with excellent skin for skincare. Yes photoshop can do a lot, but you often end up with plastic skin :/

The image above of the model is already a good crop of the full image, here is a 100% view of the detail one can get from the 40-150. What a stunning lens.

One of the main product shots, also shot with the 40-150... I am not sure what DPR does to colour, but this looks pretty bad. Try opening the image in a new window to help fix the colour issues.

I will post an update once I have put together the shoot write-up. Hopefully this shows what the ageing 16mp sensor can still do
