winter in Holland

All shot with my Olympus E-M10 mark2 with 14-150mm II version and some with oly 60mm macro. Edited in lightroom en PSE 11.

Can't tell. We have an expression "april doet wat het wil" translated: april does as it pleases. It may be cold and rainy but could just as well be a nice early summer.

Best advice: check a weather website just before you come over.

I like the ice cristalls. Very nice. Where were these taken?

It is our driest month and it tends to be sunny (for our part of the world). But it is changable as ever. Daytime temperatures are near 12 C and nighttime near 4 C. If you are unlucky it still can snow but lately april has warmed up rapidly so snow in  april has become increasingly rare. But in april you still need your winterclothes.

The photo's were taken in Maasbracht. This is in the south of the Netherlands.

The weather in April is mutable. It can rain but it also can be very nice weather with 18 to 20 degrees celcius. Most of the time it's during the day 12 to 14 degrees celcius and at night 4 to 8 degrees celcius.

In Amsterdam you should go to the "albert cuyp" market.  Very intresting people. Also the "rembrandplein and museumplein" are very intresting. Don't miss the canals.

Maybe a visit to Kinderdijk where the windmills are or Delft is possible. Very intresting places.
