Strap Lug Failure - what's the warranty situation?

Yesterday, a strap lug on my EM-5 snapped, and while it wasn't a full crash, the front element of my attached 40-150 f/2.8 touched the ground, and is now chipped in one spot. Both the camera and lens were purchased by me in the EU under under two years ago, and I am their registered owner. What has been your experience with Olympus in terms of warranty in similar circumstances, both for the camera body, and (more importantly) for damage caused to an attached lens?

I had a 75mm 1.8 attached to my E-M1 when the lug failed. The optics didn't appear to be damaged but the barrel was scratched and Olympus repaired both the camera and lens within a week.

In EU you need to raise a service ticket with Olympus before sending anything and they will send you courier papers by email and arrange a pickup, at no cost to me.

It happened a week before I went abroad on holiday, and they managed to return camera and lens in time.

It was annoying that it happened, but after that the service was terrific.
