14 2.5/Oly 25 1.8 comparison please

So here is the background: my primary kit is an EM10 mk 1 with the panny 20/1.7 and Oly 45/1.8. I love both lenses but as many have noticed before, the AF speed of the 20mm struggles to keep up with my young kids, and I end up with more out of focus shots that I would like. I find myself using the 45 outside with them, but to get the framing I like, I end up too far away to play with them.

After weighing my options, I'm down to the Panasonic 14/2.5 and Olympus 25/1.8.  I know the overall image quality of the 25 is better. My concern is primarily the focus speed.

For anyone who has used these 2-3 lenses: did you notice a significant difference in the focusing speed of 14 compared to the 20, and is it close to that of the 25?

Part of me says get the 25 enjoy the combo of great IQ and speed. However, it is so close to the 20 focal length, I wonder if the wider 14 would be better suited to my style.   I like to get close and some of the environment in candid shots while they play (if I want more traditional portraits, I use the 45).  I just don't want to get the 14 and still be stuck with slower focusing speed.   BTW, I plan on keeping the 20/1.7 as my walk around

TL;DR: On an EM10, is the focus speed of the panny 14/2.5 noticeably faster than the 20/1.7, and does it come reasonably close to the Oly 25/1.8?

The 14mm and 45mm are similar in focusing speed on my EM10. I'd go with 14mm because 25mm can still be a bit tight indoors.

YES, the 14mm is way faster focusing than the 20mm on an E-M10.

I got the 14mm f2.5 and E-M10 II. Its fast and sharp.

I haven't got a lot of shots with it as I just switched to an EM10.

I have the 14 and the 20 and a bunch of other lenses. The 14 is one of the fastest focusing lenses I have and yes, it is faster than the 20 (I would guess faster than them all). That's on an E-M5, GF3 and GM1.

Thanks for the info. I pulled the trigger on a used 14mm, and was able to get a few other things I needed with the savings over the 25mm. Can't wait to give it a try.
