About 2 weeks ago I put my lenses up on Craig's list. $1700 for the 100-400 and $500 for the 17-40. No response yet. I'm going to drop the price $100 on both and repost.

In other news, I'm surprised this is still on the first page. Seems like things have slowed down here a lot. "Back in the day" the first page would roll over with new posts just about every day!

Probably due to the lack of recent releases in the Rebel line by Canon. With the exception of the T6i/s series, the cameras are largely the same with their respective "tiered" lineage, so not much more needs to be said that hasn't already been said about them.

That being said, I am sure whenever Canon decides to refresh the line again, you will see a jump in postings on here. Most folks are interested in the M5/80D/5D Mk IV lines right now, being that they are recent releases.

No surprise on the decline in forum activity.  DSLR sales peaked in 2012 and are now way, way down from the peak.  The lack of interest also corresponds with the lack of technological improvements.  My camera from 2012 has almost the same image quality as what I can buy now.  Except for the decline in interest and stagnation in the technology, there is not much to talk about.

I guess we will see a T6 replacement soon.  I am not expected much in the way of improvements.  No increase in resolution or image quality.  With luck the dynamic range for the new Canon sensors will come closer to Sony sensors.  I doubt there will be much to talk about and little inducement to upgrade.

Just logged in for no reason and saw your post.

Take care.
