T1i problem, non responsive unless change mode or reboot

I have a problem and trying to have it figure out fast as i  on my trip.

I have a t1i. Never have issue until this time around using it.

The problem is after taking one picture  the unit wont allow me to take any more pictures unless i will change mode or reboot.  When I change mode from dial, it will take a picture right away.  It also wont focus after every shoot, some time i see the iso switch by itself. Play button, or any menu button also manual focus still dont allow me to take pictures.

If i do continous shoots, it will keep going non stop until turn off camera

I currently have to reboot camera between every shoot.

I changed lens, sd card, battery but all still the same.

Anyone have encountered this?

It sounds like your shutter button does not come back to an unpressed situation.

All in my humble opinion of course!

I don't think is the button as it does the say with the battery grip button.

I reloaded the firmware and it worked ok for the 1st day then it goes on and off

If i dont use it for a few hours it would work fine for about 30mins continuous useage..  But if I continously use it, it will go back to that issue

Any more idea?

Have you tried using it without the battery grip attached ?
