Does anybody have the service manual of a Canon EOS XS (1000D?)

Well, my old Canon had a bad shutter. I bought one and I tried to replace it. It was difficult! but I think I made everything fine, I just had some question on the little flange that actuates the mirror. I leave it as my logic says it would work, but because my old shutter was completly stucked I am not sure if my guess was right.

Well, it didnt work. Now I just have a small movement of the mirror everytime I close the battery cover, no display, no movement of something else. Everything seems dead. Maybe I burned something when I discharged the CAPĀ

I really dont wanna open it again right now, but who knows maybe the next weekend or so I might be willing to, in the meantime I would like to read the service manual. Hope someone share it

just for the record, I already knew this would be a huge risk (repair it by myself) but the camera was already dead, the canon service was too expensive for the old camera and I like to assemble and dissasemble things, but as an advise for anyone trying to do some kind of repair on their cameras, if it is your first time, I am sure your success rate wont be good specially on complex repairs like the shutter. I practically dissasemble all the little thing, and there are a lot of parts. I don-t even imagine the compelxity of more advanced cameras. If your camera still worth something, probably Canon service is the way to go.
