Samsung NX300 freezing after new lens

Hi, I've been trying to figure out what went wrong with my NX300 but so far haven't found anything that solved it. I switched to the 60mm macro lens recently (previously had no problems with kit lens) and the first bunch of photos I took there were no problems. Took it on a trip (hand carried) and problems started- screen would be black/flicker until I put my hand in front of the lens then it would be fine for a little while for me to take a picture.

Now the screen is always black no matter what I do and the camera will sometimes freeze up where I can't turn it off and have to pop the battery out. I cleaned the connections on body and lens, updated firmware on body and lens, but nothing as fixed it. I haven't been able to test other lens/switch SD or battery out yet. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Samsung NX300 freezing after new lens

Do you know anyone else with a Samsung camera you could try it on? What happens when you put the kit lens back on? Maybe try updating the firmware on just the body, then with the lens on the body?
