So what's your point?  Are you running an ad for that Canon lens?  Proclaiming its high quality?  Asking for alternatives?  Personally, I "walk around" with a Tamron 16-300.  It's wider and longer than the Canon 18-135.  If I take a second lens it's the Sigma 8-16, for wide shots.

And what is your point? The Op is happy with his lens and placed a 5 star review. If you feel like being a troll, feel to way feel free to comment on ALL the lens reviews that show up here.

To stay on  topic, I am happy with my 18-135mm STM IS.  It is an excellent walk around lens with out sacrificing too much IQ like the 18-300mm lenses.

if OP's point is a review of this lens, then he hasn't said anything why this lens is good and for what reasons, he /she just pulled 5 stars and said it stays on his camera! that is meaningless and a waste of time, IMO.

If you feel that way, I suggest you petition DPreview to require a minimum amount of text in the review field, say 10,000 words. Also to have DPreview to not automatically post reviews on the product page to the relevant forum (which may encourage discussion).

ha ha....Aldrich, you must be a comedian, right? when someone says" this lens is on my camera all the time" and then lights up 5 stars, as OP has done and nothing else, i think out of courtesy he/she should have added a few words to explain why he feels so, that is all i suggested! i find it very tiring reading your uncontrolled and unsolicited nonsense and juvenile tirades!!!

Unfortunately, you stated in your previous post that their post was, "...meaningless and a waste of time, IMO." Instead, perhaps proactive encouragement to a new user (less than 11 posts) who's primary language may not be English (from Shanghai, China) would be more useful.

Since you "find it very tiring reading" my comments I shall digress.
