650D's rear screen colour tint.

As you may know i think the EOS 650D (T4i) to be a fantastic little DSLR - but nothing is perfect.

One thing i often find with it is that i cannot judge the white balance very well using the rear monitor screen, yes i know it's probably not the best thing to check WB on, but when you're out in the field it's all you're likely to have. So anyway, the images often look too 'cool' so then i change the WB to something else like "cloudy" for instance only to find later on the computer for the image to look too 'warm'.

When i first saw the 700D (T5i) i noticed the colour-tint of the rear screen menu to look a more warmer shade of white as was too the 70D and 6D, by comparision to these the 650D's menu looked bluer. I found it a bit easier to judge the WB more accurately with the 70D and more so with the 6D - so do you think the colour calibration of the 650D's rear LCD monitor is set a little off towards the cooler 'blue' end of the spectrum thus potentially giving somewhat inaccurate review images? Has anyone else noticed something similar?

I wonder if one of the reasons the 650D was rather quickly replaced by the 700D was due to the colour profile of the rear monitor...
