Canon 1100D display problem

Hi everybody, my first post and it's about a problem with my 1100d lcd display. Doesn't work at all, no matter settings or else... A day ago replaced it with another one, nothing happened. Both displays appears ok physically, no damage, nothing unusual. FPC looks ok too, no line breaks or cracks but I am guessing it yet might be wrecked, I just have no means to test it. Camera works perfectly and I have complete and regular display functions via HDMI on my TV, so my question is: beside lcd and fpc themselves, is there anything else that could be the cause?

ANSWER:
Canon EOS 1100D (EOS Rebel T3 / EOS Kiss X50)

Re: Canon 1100D display problem

I don't know about the 1100D, but my SL1 has a sensor to turn off the display when my face is up to the viewfinder. If my rubber eye cup is just barely out of place, the screen shuts off.

No such sensor on 1100d. Must be some hardware failure, I just hope it's not about mainboard.

Any issue like this, maybe different Canon model? Opinions, guessing? Anyone?

PS Solved. Flex cable issue.
