I'm thinking of pairing my XA-2 with one of the above lenses. Meanwhile, I love a bit of camera and lens porn. Especially dwarf camera porn. Please post your pics of these combos; at whatever angles you like.

(and yes, I know that the balance makes this an inadvisable combo, but I don't care).

Small cameras with viewfinders are easily hand-holdable with these lenses since the left hand should be supporting the lens and right hand the camera. However, I don't know easy this is when using only a rear screen at short distance from the face - I think the 90mm might be unstable when the camera is not held up to the eye and the 90mm is not very forgiving of unsteady hand holding.

The sky is full of holes that let the rain get in, the holes are very small - that's why the rain is thin.

I tend to use a monopod when doing portraits, so it's mostly a non-issue for me.

bump.

This post didn't get any love. Now come on, drag out your shiny XA-3 or 2, and stick and an inappropriate lens on it.

I don't think it's an inappropriate combo at all. I shoot X-A series with the 56 1.2 all the time.

I've never used the 90. The focal length is too long for me because it would require me to back up too much, which I can't do in tight spaces. I already cary the 35 with me just in case the space where I'm shooting is too tight for the 56, which it often is. Many of the images I've seen with the 90 are stunning. It's just not a focal length I would use much.
