Sorry another bag question.....

HI guys.

My current day bag is a Lowepro Fastpack 200, which I have with me everyday (take it to work all the time). It's been a great bag and has a decent sized camera compartment for a body with lens attached and a few spare lenses / accessories (be it my mirrorless system or my Nikon DSLR system). Importantly for me, it also has a "day" area at the top where I can put my day stuff (keys, mobile, sandwiches etc.).

I've had it about 2½ years now and it's been a great bag and been all over the world with me, but it does have a few limitations and was wondering if someone know of a similar sized (or just slightly larger) bag, that could be as good as the above but overcome the following as well ?

Problem no 1 is that my go to travel cam setup is now a Panasonic GX8 with Olympus 12-40 f2.8 Pro attached, and with spare lenses of my Olympus 7-14 F2.8 pro, 17mm F1.8 and 40-150 F2.8 pro. The problem is with the latter as the only way to transport this is off the body and mounted upright in the camera portion in the rear center lens section. The issue is that the lens is just slightly too long for the depth of the bag and whilst it does fit and the bag closes (just) I end up with a hump in the bag and no real protection for the end of the lens against bumps etc. ?

Issue no 2 is that the bag doesn't have any tripod carry straps. Now I know it's a small Day bag, but I have a really small light travel tripod and it would be great to somehow fix this to the bag somehow ?

Issue No 3 is no weather cover. I was caught out in a storm in Mexico last year and the bag got soaked. Luckily all the lenses and my then body (the EM1) were weatherproof and not damaged, but my paperwork inside the bag was ruined (luckily my phone was in a waterproof sleeve).

Issue No 4 is that with all the photo gear mentioned loaded (and a few lee Seven5 filters etc.) I don't have room in the camera section for a second body (my OMD-EM1).

So, am I day dreaming, or is there a bag out there that meets my requirements please

What about something like a Lowepro ProTatic 350 or a ThinkTank urban approach 15.

Re: Sorry another bag question.....

For camera, 12-40 and 40-150 PRO and some smaller lenses, the ThinkTank Retrospective 7 is a natural fit ...

Even with camera attached to the zoom, the bag closes like normal. The dividers are substantial enough to separate 2 cameras attached to bigger lenses.

(When I go crazy, I manage to stuff 2 cameras, 7-14, 12-40, 40-150 and 100-400 into this bag. It gets a little bit tight with two big zooms but it's still Ok)

Not for everyone, but after I got the 40-150 f2.8 I wanted to keep my small Retrospective 5.  So I carry the 40-150 in a separate lens bag.  I use the old 50-200 Oly bag, shich is perfect.
