E-PL6 , the easiest way to view video..

I have recorded video with the camera but I see it requires Quicktime.  I don't really know much about Quicktime.  I don't have it on my computer and I figure my phone will not play the videos.

Is there an easy way to transcode the videos so I can play them on other devices ?

Also, I checked the camera menu to see if there is a way to choose a method of recording other than QT and I saw none.  Have I over looked a way to record some kind of MPG file ?

I think Quicktime is not favoured any more because of security issues. http://www.howtogeek.com/250926/quicktime-for-windows-is-dead-and-you-should-uninstall-it-to-stay-secure/

I use VLC for viewing videos. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Google about for many but here's one http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

No, just let it do its thing and use other computer tools to view or to convert.
