3d technology in e-books

I have had a Fujifilm 3d camera for several years.  The LCD displays the images in 3d without any visual aid needed.  Do you know if that technology has been applied elsewhere, most particularly with e-books?

Thanks!

There have been, and may still be, a few 3D tablets.  I suppose you could use one of them for reading a 3D ebook.  The problem is that the lenticular screen used for 3D can cause some problems when you use that type of screen for longer times and with image quality.

I certainly hope the technology will be applied to phones and pads in the future. But I suspect it may not be done due to the way a 3D screen would affect the clarity of non-3D text and images.
