Also my experience. Great lens. And there are many other good experiences reported in this forum. But some bad, as well, so I would advise trying it, before buying, just in case.

Make sure you get a good return policy and I'd advise against buying used.

This lens has a very poor record of quality control..

I'm very happy with the Olympus 100-400 which was great out of the box. I suspect a lot of used Panny's hit the market when the Olympus version was releaded.

I can't recommend the OM-1.

Typical DPR Troll or perhaps just an idiot.

Re: Beautiful shots!

Yes Trevor was about right  I join DPR in 2007 and met you on the 4/3 Forum  I started with Lumix FZ10. I remembered John n Louis from Brazil from those days. Very helpful who got me started on the right foot. I still Louis posting from time to time.
i move on to Sony with the A1 n recently sold all Sony and very happy with OM1 with 300f4 n both the little Tuna n Big Tuna shooting wild life.
I agree with the comment made about the images color is not natural. Lacking a little tint of yellow maybe due to lack of blue channel. My personal pp was like that too before.
A great review n beautiful set of images . Great work

They are all great but that first, one for me, would just have me giddy with delight

It has really been fun watching you grow through the years - to end up here

Congrats on your happiness!

you got me thinking, just how long have I been here. My first post was March 2006 on the Konica Minolta forum moaning because my Z6 didn't seem to be as good as my previous Z3. Now on digital camera number 11.

You got yourself a great copy looking at your pics.

I've had mine for a couple years now and I have zero desire to look for another long zoom lens. I read about people not getting a very good copy of the lens but I got me a very good copy and I'm not letting it go. Have fun with that beauty.
