C&C: seven month pregnant wife

Hi people, I'm learning to take portraits and took some photos of my pregnant wife using borrowed out of the camera flash with my NX300M and it's kit lens. Took them in a small room in my apartment. All of them where post processed in lightroom 5 to heal some holes in the wall and loose strings in her shirt, correct exposure (where needed), smooth skin (a little, doesn't like plastic effect), whitening the teeth and then cleaned the background (a dirt wall) in Photoshop.

Softbox and shot through umbrella. Light bounced everywhere

First off congrats on the pregnancy! Little ones are a ton of fun (and great photo subjects).

I'm not sure I like the green tinted ones. The skin tones are a bit off putting.

Also the lighting is a bit bland on the first one, it seems even all the way across her face and kind of generic.

I like the lighting much better on the last one, but I like the pose on the first one best.

She liked that tint, if you had to use a color what would you use?

Yes, that room is very small, the shot through umbrella became a light bomb, scattering light everywhere. We liked that pose, so we kept that picture, even with that unflattering light.

Thanks again!

Congrats from here as well!

Personally, I wouldn't use any color. Go monochrome.

Hi there, See it's true, wherever you are in the world, it's the same story. Pregnant ladies absolutely bloom. The smile on your wife's face says it all. Congratulations to you both. I love your pics, especially the first, and last ones. The first, with your lovely lady holding the baby booties by her tum, is wonderful. If I were you, I'd be getting that one blown up and professionally printed and framed. That would look great on your wall at home. Thanks to both of you for these lovely photo's, her for posing, and to you for showing us.

Have a good day.
Regards, Allan.

Yeah! Personally I'd turn up the contrast a bit, but it looks much better than the green tone.
