The 12-35mm is fantastic at 12mm, and very good at 35mm...

It is a bit annoying that it suffers from zoom creep, otherwise, it is a pure pleasure to use.

I've not had that problem... was it that way when you purchased the lens?

Are we talking the old, or the new version of the 14-140 here?

Because the old version did suffer a bit at the long end.  The 14-140 ll is sharper all around when compared to the original.

I got G7 and chose 14-140 lens as a kit.

It is great considering size weight and the price bundled with the G7

But i wonder how much better is the 12-35. Is it much sharper and and does it have the nano coating wow contrast?

I think the 12-35 is a full step better than the 14-140 II. It does have the "wow" contrast that the 14-140 just doesn't. I love the 12-35 and it's the last lens I would sell. It's not as good as a prime lens but, no zoom is.

That said, the 14-140 II is the second to last lens I would sell. There are times when 35mm is just not long enough. 140 is a lot longer. For walking around in daylight it's fantastic. It's by far the best super-zoom lens I have owned.
