Pen-F: Which Are You Getting? Black or Silver?

Is this a psychology test?

I'm not sure but I put the question to you.

I already have a silver/black EM-1 and silver Olympus 12mm, 17mm, and 45mm Zuiko lenses.

So I'm a silver on silver kinda pho-tog.

The Pen-F is just so dreamy in either silver or black.  Silver is retro; Black is stealth.  Someone I heard said that the patina on the black looks better over time.  Any thoughts?

So which one are you getting?

Don't have all your silver primes - actually most of my lenses are black (including the 17mm and my two older Zuiko 50mm/100mm primes) BUT I plan on picking up the Silver Pen F this weekend.

(Now - whether I can be happy being a JPEG shooter again or still shoot RAW+JPEG I have not decided yet.)

With Olympus gear I usually buy silver first and get the black later as a second body

Since the Pen F has quite a few dials and the silver is quite prominent, I'd think the silver looks more distinctive, more than the previous Pens, and any OM-D

As to lenses, bot silver and black do go well with it

Case in point

In the case of the EM5 II , I think the Platinum looks more sexy than the silver (only exception IMHO)

I've had the silver for six weeks now and love it.

I went silver. Especially with the silver 12mm. Annoyingly the kit was only with a black 17mm.

All my other cameras have been black. However, I got the silver Pen-F, which I love, BTW.

Don't know about the shade, but Olympus have leather lens caps. Absurdly expensive, so this is on my list of DIY projects. Should not be too complicated.

I believe you attach the other end to a lug on the camera so that you don't lose the cap.

No, silly, actually $44.99. Now you know why they're on a tether! And check out their prices for simple metal caps.

i normally prefer black cameras, but I must say the Pen F is super sharp in silver, though best with small black lenses.
