NX500 goes trail running part 2!
11

Ive been playing with the new Sony A6300 and it's great but it doesn't have a good wide pancake lens and its bigger so that wont work with my trail running pack up in the mountains when I run 20-30 miles. The NX500 still amazes me with the quality of photos it takes and how quick it works. I took these pictures yesterday with a run my wife and I did with over 5000 ft of elevation gain in the first 5 miles but the views were worth it! The 16mm lens is not the sharpest and quickest on af but for what I need it's much better than a cell phone picture. I did not spend much time editing these raw files and taking the pictures

because we were running most the time.

Thanks so much for sharing such wonderful views and photos. The NX500+16mm is a pretty sweet combo.

Excellent photos Paul. This place is amazing!

You shouldn't be surprised though, not long ago the NX500 had the best APS-C sensor on a mirrorless camera! And Samsung did a lot of things wrong, but the lenses roadmap wasn't one of those. Of course we needed more and better lenses, but their start with small and cheap lenses was the right thing to do I guess.

Congrats once more, it seems that you live a high quality life!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It really is the best bang for the buck when it comes to size and quality of photos it takes.

Ha! that's funny lol Yes being able to frame the shot before hand in your minds eye helps Learning how to edit the raw files. If you get a chance check out my website 80% of what I shoot is extreme sports www.paulmnelson.com

Beautiful photos indeed. Couldn't agree more on the budget/ size/ features balance on this system.
