Re: E-PL6 price you would consider?

If I would want one, yes, why not?

Generally, I think it is the wrong way round to first see a good price and then wonder whether you want one. I think it makes more sense to first think up what you want and then see whether you can afford it or not. So, if you really want it, it sounds like good value. If not, it is USD 130 waisted.

Re: E-PL6 price you would consider?

I am actually selling one. And considering what price would people find acceptable for such package.

I just wanted the objective (14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ) and only the objective costs typically 329-349€, sometimes cheapest price being around 259€.

But then you can get E-PL6 for 279€ with the 14-42mm EZ.

I don't see reasons for anyone to buy a E-PL6 without lens (but everything else with it) for 200€, as adding even cheap Sigma prime costs 140€ extra, and 14-42mm EZ is far better value than prime if it would be only camera.

But I think 130€ would be a fair price for someone to get a backup body for m4/3 system, as E-PL6 isn't terrible by itself for the image quality vs size. And I think handling is far better than GM1 offers and the flip-screen is huge benefit over GM1 too.

I just wonder do I dare to ask 129€ for the body + everything else than lens?

Other bundles - Price ranging and thoughts.

I got other idea how to sell the body:

130€ for

  • E-PL6 body (and all other official pieces ie. Battery + charger, flash etc)

150€ ? for

  • E-PL6 body (and all other official pieces ie. Battery + charger, flash etc)
  • + 15mm f/8 bodycap lens (as well unused, in package etc)

190€ ? for

  • E-PL6 body (and all other official pieces ie. Battery + charger, flash etc)
  • + 17mm f/2.8 (BLK) (used, in a mint condition, no warranty)

I am just trying to find out what people could recommend/suggest for the prices.

Here are couple Amazon/Ebay prices for 17mm f/2.8 in common price range:

http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-M-Zuiko-17mm-2-8-Lens/dp/B002CGSYM6

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Olympus-17mm-f2-8-M-ZUIKO-Digital-Micro-Four-Thirds-MFT-Pancake-lens-/131533242631?hash=item1e9ffe0107:g:WTgAAOSw3xJVeCWn

And here are for the E-PL6 (fairly good prices)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Olympus-Gehause-E-PL6-schwarz-/222053706420?hash=item33b36eaab4:g:90AAAOSwr7ZW5uvs

So am I crazy to try to even sell the brand new E-PL6 body in package with everything else than the lens for 130€? Should I try to ask more?

As I just feel that someone would enjoy little more about the deal if they get it cheaply.

ps. That E-PL6 looks crazy good with black 7.5mm fisheye because they all share same black/silver/orange coloring!

I am just starting to even feel regret to think about selling the body as it starts to feel nice addition to my own collection, but I just don't want to own a body that I don't have much usage as I don't need three bodies, when two (E-P5 and E-M1) is already so that I carry one in pocket with me and other is in small bag that I take when I need the EVF and C-AF performance.

Sounds like avoid deal.  How does that price compare to an EM10 mk1 body only?

iPhone auto-"correction"

How can iPhone "correct" the word "good" to "avoid"?

Silly me, as I read it "good deal" before I read your *correction*.

Re: E-PL6 price you would consider?

For E-M10 body only it is about 330€ and with 14-42mm EZ some has sold for 5400€ (but at early 2015) and both used.

You are right that E-M10 is a good comparison body, but I think it is little different class because even then it is bigger with the EVF hump. But nicer with the dual-dials and so on.

I just find it difficult to get the good idea for the body, as I don't trust the camera store dealers as they like to take it in with cheaper price and then hit higher price. Asked in one store and they said they could take it for 50€ and sell it in their own deals.
