My 1 year old NX1 with 50-150 S captures Beauty and the Beast

My NX1 and 2 S lenses have their first birthday this coming weekend. The year went very fast but it's a great kit for photography and I've really enjoyed the ride. What that also means though is that the 1 Year Warranty will be ending. And I realized that with so much work on my 35 Years of 35mm Film project (between 600 and 700 hours so far - see link in my signature below), and finally setting up and publishing to my Blog, that I haven't had time lately for shooting with my NX1 (or visiting this forum). So I decided today to take my NX1 kit out and give it a workout, making sure all was in order before the warranty year ended. Nothing very special, just a lot of shots to be tossed when I was comfortable the camera was still in top notch shape. The day was successful and I still feel comfortable with the equipment.
But as it turns out, I didn't toss all the images. Two of them I really liked, enough that they made it to a new Gallery on my website. That Gallery is for the Teatown Lake Reservation, from which I never posted images before. Both images were taken at the long end of the 50-150mm S and when I saw them together, they reminded me of "Beauty" and "The Beast". Take a look in the Gallery and you will probably realize why. It looks like Teatown is going to get a lot of my NX1's attention as color comes back and Spring blooms over its hills and valleys and lakes.
Here's the Link: Teatown Lake Reservation
Note: I love how the NX1 and 50-150mm S were able to capture the textures and details in both subjects, and especially how it captured the dynamic range with both highlights and shadows in "Beauty".
