Auto WB+Warm colors

What does this feature do when not used with incandescent lighting?

I read elsewhere it has no effect when used outdoors, is this true?

I was doing a night landscape the other night with my EPL6 and testing different WB settings and found Auto WB to select a WB between Fluorescent (4000K) and Daylight (5300K). Would Auto+Warm push it more towards Fluorescent or more towards Daylight? Also what is the best WB to use to make the sun appear yellow?

Is there something in the EXIF that indicates (in degrees Kelvin) what WB value was selected by the camera for Auto? And does spot metering affect Auto WB in any way?  Thanks!
