exposure issue?

Hi all,

I've found a particular issue with my NX1000.

Sometimes with very short time exposure (like during a sunny day) the picture is VERY overexposured and "burned" (some days every 5-6 pictures, sometimes every 30 pictures).

If I take another picture with the same time/iso/aperture immediately there aren't any problem.

I can barely noticed this effect when the exposure is about 1/100 sec, but it happens.

No matter wich lens or mode i can choose; the camera has the latest fw. I already reset it.

This was a present so I must pay for assistance. Do you have any tip? At the moment, I'm using bracketing so I have at least 1 good picture.

Thank you for you time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: exposure issue?

You could try reinstalling the firmware to test if its an issue there, otherwise I guess it might be hardware related.

Did you changing metering modes by the way? Could be an issue with spotmetering, try matrix instead. Does it also happen in M mode?

Re: exposure issue?

Thank you for your reply.

Actually, I'm using "multi" metering, I try to change it tomorrow, but it happens also when I choose all of iso/time/aperture. Here two pictures taken during a series of tests: 1/3200 sec. iso 200 f2.8 in less than 5 sec.

Re: exposure issue?

Thats not a problem with the metering mode, looks like a bigger problem to me. Try reinstalling the firmware otherwise you might want to ask in a camera store if they can send ut in for servicing.
