Some photos with the NX20 and kit lens
4

Some time ago I left my old NX20 and the kit lens from the NX30 in storage with friends, as I never used it. A couple of weeks ago, I collected it to pass on to a relative, and just on a whim I wandered around the town taking some photos first.

I never really used the kit lens much, and going from the NX30 back to the NX20 is quite painful - it's so slow! Nevertheless it made a change.

These are in Beihai, a very small city in southern China.

Very nice photos.

I find my NX20 to be the most comfortable camera to hold and use I have ever had - I think the viewfinder is wonderful. But compared to my NX500, I agree, it is painfully slow. I haven't used it in a while - your photos have encouraged me to have some fun with it.

I have particularly liked to use it with my NX60mm macro; an old example:

Thank you - and that's a nice bird shot there, you must have been pretty close. did you have the feeder just outside the window? I also like the 60mm, that and the 50-150 are the lenses I'll definitely keep hold of, even as I gradually switch the rest of my lenses over to Micro Four Thirds Equivalents.

Although I really liked the NX20 when I got it, I since came to prefer the shape of the NX30 grip - that camera is just about perfect for my hands. It's going to be hard to find a replacement that is as comfortable

It is difficult to give up a camera that feels very comfortable in the hands.
