Young Eagle - Oly EP5 40-150 1.4 tele

These are gorgeous ones, did you crop them? Can't see that much detail but they look sharp to me.

Nice set! I'm curious: how much cropping you had to do with these? I have a friend who gets some great shots with a 7DII and Tamron 150-600, but the detail you're getting in some of these is very good, comparable to many of his. But of course you're also dealing with a lot less reach. I am interested in seeing some full size images, if you're willing to share.

You don't have to go far around here to see them, usually I can just look out my window. I'm on Vancouver Island, about 50km away from Vancouver. Definitely not endangered around here!

Same goes for Great Horned Owls and Rufus Hummingbirds. Some of the hummers are actually sticking around in the winter now. It is a bit strange to see them feeding alongside winter birds.

Better luck than I had in Washington state.  I only saw one eagle yesterday, and it flew away as I tried to get closer to it.

So strong and powerful they look and fine work in these. Nice details and you got some great poses. Excellent shots and work.
