Tried focus stacking on the E-M1

I think it worked nicely with the fast shutter speed IMHO.  I hope dpreview doesn't kill the sharpness.  Shot with the 60mm macro at 3.5 or 4 I think.

Re: Tried focus stacking on the E-M1

Nice! Just got an EM-1 but haven't tried the automatic stacking yet. May I ask where the initial focus point was, that is, does the camera stack in both directions (near and far)  from the initial point?

cheers,

Tom

I put the focus near the middle front and used a differential of 5 or 6. It does stack in both directions, I think more to the rear like normal DOF.

The setting for focus bracketing is in the second menu option down, little camera and a two, under bracketing.  Just make sure you right arrow to the end once you choose "Focus BKT" to find the options.
