"Wildlife" with the GX8 & 40-150 f2.8 & MC14

From Monkey Jungle in South Miami. These were shot in raw and processed in LR.

Note the ISO's and please look at the originals, they look much better than the embedded photos.

Hmm - they look very good. Surprisingly ISO 6400 looks better to my eyes than ISO 200 - at these file sizes.

That heron and the pose is just superb !! The larger view shows amazing details and just love the colouring. Spectacular shotand great behavior. The apes are great, but hey, I'm a bird nutter

Nice shots, the ISO6400 is surprisingly really good. Hmmm, I need to use it more often if need to.

Thanks. Sometimes it is either high ISO or not even bother trying. In my opinion it is better to try and take a hit with increased noise and the loss of some detail than to just sit back and do nothing.
