E-PL6 firmware update

I just updated my firmware to 1.3 and it says that this provides compatibility with Olympus lenses with ios,  I don't currently have any OLY lenes with ios.  What does this update do?

Also, and this is more important to me now, does this work with Panasonic lenses with ios?

It is to accommodate the only Oly lens so far with OIS, the 300/4.

Yes, the old rules for the E-PL5 (same camera mostly as E-PL6) are on my page.

http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~parsog/olyepl1/50-epl5-comments.html#stabilisation

That was tested with 14-45mm with OIS switch and with the unswitched OIS 45-150mm.

My E-PL5 also had that update but I have not gone back to check whether the rules have changed now for that as well. But I cannot see that anything would change except for the Oly 300/4 which probably by default on those cameras had the OIS always disabled until this update.

On some other bodies (like the E-P5) the update enables the OIS and also combines that with just the roll correction function of the 5 axis IBIS. But no roll correction on E-PL5/6 so possibly the rules still look the same as before for E-PL5/6.
