Canon FD 24mm f2.8 diagrams or microfiche anywhere?

Hey all,

I have been repairing FD lenses for a little while now but have a 24mm 2.8 that's thrown me for a small curve. The main group is loose in the inner barrel. The brass bushing are still in good shape but it appears there may have been additional bushings on the brass ones.

Does anyone know where I can find a microfiche of the parts for this lens?

A quick description of the issue. I purchased it as is for parts so I'm not worried if I dont get it fixed. The lens is loose in the barrel. When you tilt the front down, the main group (including the rear group) slide forward about 2mm. When you lean the rear down, the groups slide backward 2mm.

I have completely disassembled it to see why. The main group slides into the focus barrel and is held in by three brass bushings with Phillips screws. These focus barrel has a channel cut 360 inside for the bushings to slide in so the focus barrel can turn but the main group will not allowing the forward/rearward motion required to achieve proper focus. These bushings must be missing something as they do not adequately take up the slack in the space provided. They still need to be able to move forward and backward in the oblong holes of the inner focus barrel.

Maybe I should take it back apart and post pics for everyone. I think some fresh grease and some small bushing sleeves may fix it. Any ideas?

Sorry for any typos- sent from my Nokia.

I believe I may be able to cut heat shrink tubing the length of the bushings and apply them to the bushings.  If I can build the diameter of the bushings to the thickness of the channel int he focus ring I believe this will correct the excess play of the main group.  I'll post pictures when I do this repair (if it works lol)
