I really love it

I just got this camera since its old owner stopped using it, and have been using it for about a month, sincerely I believe this a very good camera, its macro is very good too(NB= I am using it with its factory lens). I really love it.

Well, let me first say congrats on falling in love with your Canon T1i and kit lens. As a current T1i owner myself I will say that you've got a great camera. You may however think about upgrading the firmware to unlock some added features such as partial metering. I also suggest you watch the T1i tutorials on YouTube by Richard Bradbury to learn everything you can about your camera.

Have fun and wishing all the best mate.

It's a great robust camera. It never failed me with any issues and I upgraded to the latest firmware when I got it. I sold it to a friend who is just breaking into ilc cameras from an old slr and point and shoot

I still use mine a lot even though I have a few other cameras and like yours mine has never failed me.

Re: I really love it

I went from a Canon 6D to the T1i to lighten my carrying weight and allow me to take more risky shots that could ruin the gear. I use it now with a 55-250, 18-55, and a Sigma 8-16. Really amazing focal range coverage for such a light package.

I find the image quality to be really good at lower ISO levels. No banding in the shadows and nice color quality.
