Micro Four Thirds Adapters?

there is a Sigma 30mm F1.4 up for 200$ 2nd hand in my area (pretty sweet  deal) It has a 4/3 mount and I am wondering if I were to pick it up for my Olympus EM5 which lens adapter should I buy that will let me use AF with the 4/3 lens that will be reliable and also not super pricey?

send me some links if you could!

thanks

Re: Micro Four Thirds Adapters?

Any adapter with pass-through contacts will do. Be forewarned that focus response will be slow and possibly hesitant to lock on the E-M5. My experience pairing it with 4/3 lenses was not encouraging and I only used the 12-60 and 7-14 with any success.

Cheers,

Rick

I agree with that. I have a Fotga adapter that works acceptably with the 4/3 9-18mm zoom on my E-M10 but focusing with the 40-150 was so sluggish that I sold that lens and replaced it with the native m4/3 version.

I'd expect the Sigma to be similarly sluggish irrespective of the brand of adapter.

Cheers

Brian
