My Colors

I picked up a S90 for casual snapshots and found myself tweaking the My Color settings a lot. Right now I'm using:

Custom

Saturation: 0
Contrast: -1
Sharpness: -2

Red: -0

Green: +1

Blue: 0

Skin tone: 0

Sharpening -2 basically disables sharpening and thus any amplification of artifacts and haloing which I despise. Contrast -1 mostly brings back highlight detail from the default setting. I haven't found a subject where skin tone other than 0 is an improvement. Green +1 seemed counter-intuitive but improves overall colors and complements skin tones. Sort of completes the already good default colors. I tried to simulate the effect in PS:

Re: My Colors

Interesting configuration, especially the Green.  I have an s90 and I'll try it for comparison.

I've rebased my settings around saturation -1 since OP. Red+1 & green+1 give a similar hues as the OP but with less risk of blow-out: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/154039
