Insanely Good!

You are a true master - that fact that you could achieve these with the EM-1 is nothing short of mind boggling to me. Way above my pay grade! Wonderful!

wonderful shots Vass !
Each time you post a set like this they seem to be better and better

I notice that these are all single frame shots. Were you able to get any sequences ?

By some reports, the E-M1 + latest firmware + 40-150mm pro is the best that M43 has to offer for BIF and it's as good as the best DSLRs like the 7DmkII.

What are your thoughts . . .  is Olympus there yet ?

Peter

Re: Swallows in Flight

Thank you

Yes but I chose my best photos out of those sequences.
Actually the first 2 juvenile shots are from the same sequence.

I can't compare it to other camera like 7DmkII as iv'e never used one so I couldn't tell you how it compares. Infact the only digital camera's ive owned before are FZ5 and fZ18 and numerous 35mm film like canon T50, Nikon F65 which my dad let me have but I never would have tried birds in flight with those film cameras.

Maybe someone else can answer the question better who comes from DSLR and uses m43

WOW Vas !! That is impressive work right there and shots I wish were mine. Fantastic to see on one of the hardest small birds on this planet to take in flight. Brilliant. My favourite would be ........ ahhhhh ...... all of them

All the best Vas, top work and shots. Love it.

Danny.

Re: Swallows in Flight

thanks

9 box and C-AF

fps I used H and L for some and a varied fps rate on H. H seems to work better most the time with fps anywhere between 7-9.
