Great little camera for so little money
3

I'am used to great DSLR's and used them for almost 10 years, butt do to money issues and health problems I had to step down, also do to the weight of my DSLR set.

After a looking at many different camera's i was drawn to this little camera.

I'ts not that little, slightly bigger than other compacts, but much smaller than DSLR's.

After more than 1800 photo's I'am really happy making the change.

I'am a nature photographer, like also some closeups and sometimes night or low light photography. and some HDR, filming is new to me.

This camera needs one thing, a steady hand or a monopod or tripod.

I'am not steady with my hands, because of medication, so I use a monopod and sometimes a tripod. But than you can make great picture's, even at low light in Manual modus and with a tripod the photo's are great.

You can see some sample's at 500px and Flickr, my full name is Rene keultjes, so you can find me.

Good luck and don't be scared to try this camera, it's a great travel companion and replacement of a DSLR.

I agree - impressive image quality. Many of us can't carry around DSLR's for a variety of reasons, and it's good to know that we don't have to sacrifice too much to enjoy our hobby with a cheaper and lighter camera.
