Panasonic GX8 with Olympus 40-150 f2.8 ?

Does anyone has any experience using GX8 with Olympus 2.8?  How effective is the IBIS at the long end? Also, is the IBIS effective with TC as well?

After a long hiatus I'm thinking about picking up m4/3 again and GX8 seems to check all feature boxes that I'm looking for. With GX8 I plan on getting just the 12-40 and 40-150 f2.8 lenses as I already have full selection of Nikon glass which will be my main system.

I have that setup. With the 40-150/2.8 with lens at 150 mm (300 mm fov) I have gone as low as 1/30 sec with no problems. Haven't tried lower than that or go that low with the 1.4 TC. I rarely use the 1.4 TC as it really isn't needed for my type of photography (event).

That's good to know. I would also like to know how it works with TC. If you get a chance, could you test it ?

I've booked marked this post. It will be at least three weeks as I have four Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks, two soccer games, and a baby shower at McGuire AFB-Ft Dix to shoot. I'll PM you when I get a chance.

Quick Question:  Is there any way to assign the Fn buttons on the m.Zuiko lenses when mounted on a GX8?  I hear that there was, but have yet to find an answer (as of 12/26/2015).

If there is, I haven't found a way to do that.
