Suggestion for a Standard Zoom FD Lens

Can anyone suggest me a standard zoom FD zoom lens similar to Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 zoom lens?

I have been looking at Canon FD 35-105mm f/3.5 lens but it is actually a bit more difficult to find one than I thought especially because I am based in Australia.

Can someone suggest me either a FD lens or any other vintage standard zoom lens for potential videography? Hopefully a lens with constant aperture? And tell me where I can purchase them?

Thank you very much.

In the MF days there were no f2.8 standard zooms, really. And 24mm was for wide angle zooms.

The FD 35-70mm f2.8-3.5 is the closest you can get.

A similar Nikkor:

There was the 28-85mm f4 and 35-70 f4.  That's about it for standard zooms with a fixed aperture.

i guess you are going to fit it to a mirrorless so the mount not matter

of the top of my head

Minolta md 35-70 f3.5 macro very sharp, out resolves my 16mp sensor was rebadged as a leica its that good..i did read its is a F2.8 lens and can be internally adjusted to get f2.8 .the story is Minolta limited it to f3.5 so its still sharp wide open.....dont now if that is fact

some of the older nikon AF lenses that do not have a G in the name still have a aperture ring which will give you the speck closer to what you need ..probably expensive the nikon AFS 28-70 f2.8 ed

Vivitar did the Vivitar Series 1 35-85mm F/2.8 but its a Varifocal...meaning you have to refocus when you zoom so no good to you

evil bay is the best place

may be able to help you here better http://forum.mflenses.com/manual-focus-lenses-f3.html
