Lightroom lens profile for Panasonic 14-140 lens...

Just got my GX8 and the 14-140 lens.  Very happy with the initial test photos.

I normally shoot everything in RAW and process in Lightroom.  I noticed that there is no lens correction profile available for this combination provided in the latest version of Lightroom.

Does anyone have or know where I can get a Lightroom lens correction profile for the 14-140?

M43 has built in profiles and LR/ACR uses those, newest version of LR shows it applied in the development area.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Not sure that I understand how LR/ACR applies the profiles.

For all of my Nikon gear, under lens profile, Lightroom recognizes the lens, and I can see a visible difference if I check or uncheck apply profile.

For my GX8 with the 14-140, it does not recognize that lens and if I check or uncheck the option, there is no difference.

If you could please explain how and where the lens profiles are applied, that would be appreciated.

What he means is that M43 files have the correction profiles embedded in the file, in the JPEG when is getting burned, or inside the RAW file. There is no way, as far as i know, to "disable" a profile inside Lightroom. You are always using profile corrected files. No need to apply other profile.

DSLR lenses don't have that ability, and that's why Adobe must build lens correction profiles for all those lenses.

BTW, there are also profiles for the m43 lenses that don't have electrical contacts with the cameras, like the Samyanh/Rokinons. For those you can find and download them. I use the ones from this thread for my 7.5mm fisheye: http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/40689446
