NX1100 troubleshooting

I have a NX1100 that I've had for about two years. Yesterday, I got the 30mm pancake lens for it. I spent the morning testing the new lens out, then decided to charge the battery, though the battery indicator still had two bars on it. When I charged the battery and put it back in the camera, the camera would not power on. Just the green light on the back of the camera came on, and it remained illuminated (usually that light blinks when you turn on the camera and that's it.) When I switch the power off, the green light remains lit. It only goes off if I take the battery out. I tried different things like taking the battery and memory card out for awhile and inserting them again, putting the kit lens back on the camera, etc. No luck there though.

I did contact Samsung customer support, but they weren't very helpful. Does anyone know if this problem could be attributed to a battery that's suddenly gone bad, the charger suddenly going bad, or a mechanical malfunction with the camera?

Thanks in advance!
