Arnt we blessed with our amazing birdlife in this country? Great to see your pics. I don't think people realize how tricky it is to get decent pictures of wild birds... particularly the smaller ones. Here's a few from where I live. You'll see a few of our (Western) versions of wrens... and our Western Spinebill. Isn't the diversity of Natural Selection amazing? D.

Another great set Vas

More great details in these and again, love the burst of colours. Wren's are drop dead gorgeous little ones, always a pleasure to see. A great variety and you normal fine details captured in these. Man you can shoot Love the Teal ducks and I can see the difference in the colours compared to other Teal ducks, interesting to see.

All the best Vas, top work as always.

Danny.

impressive work, vass, and also Denisio

I have to say I for one do appreciate how difficult it is to get such pictures -- my very rare showing of bird pix attests to that! If I had a bunch of good stuff it would be on display, I can tell you! I love these excellent bird pix.

The Pardalote and Silvereye, in particular, are absolutely stunning.

Impressive images at flickr too

I'm very impressed by your flickr images too ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/14869355@N07/ ). You must have a lot of skill and patience to get these kinds of results - skills in both photography and getting close enough to the subjects.

Seeing your images, perhaps I should move the 40-150 f/2.8 + converter higher up my priority list.

vass..another WOW set of bird photos...you and
1

nzmacro put the majority of the guys in the other "larger" sensor forums into shame with your bird photos. It's always a delight viewing them and it's always a learning experience viewing the different types of birds from different part of the world where others can't see.

Thank you both for a job well done and keep 'em coming.

Re: A good mix of Aussie Birds (lot's of images and birds)

Thanks all

The comments are much appreciated

Sorry for the late reply I have a problem with my e-m1 that happened today. It will not start up and just makes a faint ticking sound like a clock, both EVF and LCD have a black screen and no response from buttons
I ran out of warranty almost 2 weeks ago so hopefully Olympus will still repair it. I got it as a gift from Hong Kong so hopefully they atleast let me extend my warranty. These things happen I guess.
