None. I would go with the EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 STM. It is light, and it is a new design and better than any of the two lenses you mentioned...

It is also affordable.

55-250 any day - the 75-300 is one of the worst lenses canon makes (the worst I've owned by any rate). That doesn't mean you can't take good photos with either.

I agree with Forever Young, 55-250 stm.  If you must choose between your two, then the 55-250 IS is the better lens.

''street" ? Neither of those zoom lenses. I'd go with the 24 STM

The Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 isn't an Art lens.

Of course, it is. You are wrong. You would immediately know that if you had ever even held one. http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/art-lenses

See the engraved silver "A" on the barrel? The Art designation on the instruction manual.

Between the two I would recommend the Canon 55-250mm IS lens.  If you can afford a little more cost, get the STM version.  When I use it for street photography I like to have ample depth of field and I am careful about the backgrounds.  Often I use it on the short side of the lens for street photos.  But it's nice to have that extra focal length when required.

+1 on the Canon 24mm STM lens for street photography. On the SL1, it would be a great small camera/lens pairing for street shooting.
