Sl1 is underrated. Not sure that I agree that IQ is better on Sony a6000. I prefer the Canon to any mirrorless. There is no mirrorless weight advantage.

More pixels less noise higher Dynamic range.

Not sure how this is even open for debate really. Canon sensor in the SL1 is a 6 year old banding producing outdated piece of wasted silicon compared to the A6000 being 1 year and 6 months

Canon Sl1 with the 18-55mm is 612 grams

The Panasonic GM-5 is 281 grams

That's a LOT of weight savings

I'm sure. The A6000 has lower noise, higher resolution, more accurate color, and more DR than the SL1.

I've used my Canon EF/L lenses on both the SL1 and the A6000 and the A6000 produces better IQ with the same lenses.
