Yep it's a real classic it's a pity fuji won't release a pro model with evf etc in my opinion the Bayer sensor is better than the x trans

Yes, it's an excellent buy and I got one at a great price from Amazon before they put it up. However, if you look at the size of RAW files on this site: http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/ you will find that the X-A1 RAW files are lossy compressed, but not so with the X-E2, which I picked up yesterday and has about 30% more size, though the MP are the same, albeit the X-A1 is Bayer, neither here or there. Here's a heavy crop downsized jpeg with the X-A1's 18-50 kit lens, but on the X-E2, converted to tiff in Fuji's latest downloaded converter and processed in AfterShot Pro:

I find that the amount of compression of RAW files makes a huge difference in quality and color.

That should be 16-50 kit lens, just gotta get a new keyboard!
