Your Recommendation for EM-1 Tutorial Tome

Hello, fellow image-creators:

Bought and am now familiarizing myself with the joys of owning a new Olympus OM-D EM-1. I've watched some YouTube videos so far but wanted to inquire of the forum.

In addition to the book produced by the deities at Mt Olympus, which work between between Darrell Young's Mastering the Olympus OM-D EM-1 and David Busch's Olympus OM-D EM-1 Guide to Digital Photography would you recommend and why?

Young's book includes modifications included in firmware 2.0 , Busch's does not (I have both books).

+1 for Gary Friedman's book (it's in electronic format - although printed versions are available at additional cost). Very readable and practical. Published a firmware 2.0 supplement as well

Darrell Young's Mastering the Olympus OM-D EM-1 describes the EM-1 with firmware 3.0, so you can try and go for it. It is also available in both formats: eBook and paperback, so you can choos what fits your needs best.

For set up, configuring, and customizing the E-M1, biofos.com is excellent (and free).

Thanks for your reply. Saw Friedman's but thought it was only available as Kindle version.

Already replied to another on Friedman's which I liked but thought was only available in a Kindle format. Full disclosure: When I received my EM-1 I upgraded it to firmware 3.0

Many thanks. That's what I was searching for. Another suggested biofos.com but is being updated for firmware 3.0 according to the notice on the site.
