HI,

I want to know if the large filter adaptors such as the LEE SW150 system or Fotodiox WonderPana systems work on this lens?

Are there certain lenses that these systems have built adaptors for that have the same size barrels as the M.Zuiko 7-14mm f/2.8 Pro and thus allow this lens to use their filter holders?

Has anyone even received this lens yet and attempted to use filters?

Thanks!

With this setup did you have vignetting at 7mm?  If so, at what focal length did it not occur?  So, am I correct that all that is needed it the parts from these three links and the fliters, themselves.  Thanks, in advance, for answers.

Thank you for this info- may I ask what is the length of the M4 screws you got please (as there are multiple M4 options in the link you shared)? If I am not mistaken the filter holder you listed on ebay holds rounded filters- I can't tell but will my circular 77mm variable ND filter fit and be big enough (I'm considering getting the 7-14mm f2.8 PRO lens but haven't got it yet until I figuire out a filter mounting solution) - thanks in advance for any feedback

I know the original post is old, but it shows up high in the list of responses of a Google search, and was of great help to me in finding a CP for the 7-14mm f2.8 PRO. Luckily there is a Haida distributor in my city, and the Haida 150 Series Filter Holder (Set) for Olympus M. ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 2.8 PRO Lens and Haida CPL Optical Glass Circular Polarizer C-POL Filter 150mm Lee Compatible combination was very affordable and at f22 there is absolutely no discernible vignetting. The construction is all aluminum, it came with three sets of gaskets to block light, and it also came with the screws and rails to extend it to a three filter system (which I have not tried yet).

Re: Filters for the Olympus M.Zuiko ED 7-14mm f/2.8 Pro lens

You can modify a standard P series filter holder to fit the 7-14. You need to carefully shave the inner circular portion of the holder to match the 79mm diameter of the hood. You'll also need to shave off some material (on about a 45º angle) from the front of the holder to reduce the slight vignetting. The only downside is that when pushing the holder onto the hood it changes the finish slightly. I've found that even though the filter touches the end of the hood, repositioning the filter leaves no marks on the filter. This is one case where I'm thankful for a plastic hood.

Cheap solution for M.Zuiko 7-14/2.8
- filter holder with 86mm adapter for 100mm filters (16 USD)
- lens hood 82mm ... front screw 86mm (3 USD)
- plastic screw M4 (1 USD)

Very elegant solution. Thanks!
Any comment about vignette?

This turns out to be an excellent solution.

They also make adapters for the 12-40 and 40-150 pros that work nicely.
