*** WINNERS - MC #472 'Point of View' ***

Well, things have REALLY slowed to a crawl lately with the mini challenges.  Of the 27 total images posted, 12 were for fun, and of the 15 images that were submitted for consideration, 2 included the person submitting them.  That being said, there were excellent entries to choose from, so let's get to the results, starting with Honorable Mentions.

Eoin's shot of the Cyprus window

A unique perspective.

Next 2 would be 'People using an interesting Point of View'

Ivan's Photographer

Wonder what he was shooting...

btron's Mini Bank image

Ivan's Ostrich

And now for the winners:

In 3rd place -

Joe's Sprinkler

In 2nd place -

FerruginousHawk's Cat from Above

And the 1st Place honors go to...

Ivan's Mushrooms

Nicely framed, good use of depth of field  and seen from a 'not your usual point of view'.

Well done, Ivan, the baton is now in your capable hands.  Looking forward to your choice of topic for the next Mini.

It was during a summer Danube flood in Budapest. Fortunately it was not a serious one, but it still yielded photo opportunities... The lower quai was inundated, and (my humble self) and the photographer were on the upper quai. He looked toward Margaret Bridge. He shot maybe the people looking around from the bridge?

Thanks for appreciating my shot made during an early spring excursion!

I have just returned from a family weekend from the countryside (driving hours in the heat etc). There was WIFI at the accommodation and we had the laptop along, only that I did not switch it on at all, so I have read the winner's list just now.

I have to first gather my thoughts.
