XT1 for starry landscapes
8

I've been trying out some night time landscapes with the XT1 and XF 14mm lately.

Seems to work quite well and I'm quite enjoying this type of photography.

The photos were shot in raw and processed with C1 Pro 8.3 then resized and a bit of dynamic contrast added in Perfect effects

25s exposure at 2.8-4 with iso at 3200.

Tried out starry landscape stacker for the 1st time on this one, it is a composite of 3 photos to reduce the noise.

Cornwallis Wharf in west Auckland. A fair bit of light pollution but I think it helps the photo. The one was a single image.

They are both really good, but  No. 1 gets my vote, even though I don't know the stars in the Southern Hemisphere.

Thanks for the post.
