Galaxy NX + 18-55/3.5-5.6 refurbished on sale

1.5 years later, the versatility, convenience and usefulness of this camera is still un-matched by any other, including Samsung's own NX1.

I just bought one as a second identical body for a multiple body flash and video streaming setup seeing the first batch sold out in hours.

LOL. As a CAMERA the NX1 is superior in every single way with the exception of the size of the LCD screen on the back. No NX camera has held its introductory price as long as the NX1, which speaks volumes about what everybody else thinks about the NX1 compared to the GNX. IJS

The OP wasn't saying that the Galaxy NX was better than the NX 1 (I don't think) but rather was saying how versatile, convenient and useful it is, which I would agree with.
It's certainly unmatched in terms of image sharing capability and connectivity, if that's important to you. I've been tempted by the NX1 but I'd have to give up so much if I got rid of my G NX.

Sorry, but you are wrong. The NX1 is an excellent camera but it certainly is NOT "superior in every single way". This has been discussed before so I won't post the complete list again but the Galaxy NX has a number of features better than the NX1: connectivity, ability to install apps to do editing and cloud backup directly from the camera, full time focus peaking... I own and use both so I know the strengths and weaknesses of each. Not having full time focus peaking on the NX1 is almost inexcusable in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity how does focus peaking work on the NX1 and how does it differ from the GNX?

Just out of curiosity how does focus peaking work on the NX1 and how does it differ from the GNX?

On the GNX, focus peaking is available all the time for any lens whether it's a Samsung, or NX mount Samyang/Rokinon, or any lens used with a mount adapter. I use Nikon mount lenses on mine. With the NX1, when using non Samsung lenses, you have to click the OK butoon when you want focus peaking. And you have to do if for every shot because it shuts off after a click of the shutter.
