J3 and FT1...

Very quick question regarding using the Tamron 70-300 VC with the FT1 on the J3. I know that there were problems with FT1 firmware that enabled AF-C in nikon lenses that also disabled the tamron. Most of what I've read is older info. Has there been any resolution or work-arounds wrt to this problem?

Unfortunately, the Tamron 150-600mm doesn't work at all beyond the first shot. Once you turn off the camera and turn it back on that combination never works again. I can't wait until Nikon, if ever, allows it to work. I know it can work since I got one photo, but it may keep an internal blacklist which, if true, is truly awful on Nikon's part since it means they're willfully not allowing the lens to work.

I've had nil problems with the 70-300 VC on my V1, or V2.

Other lenses are said to be problematic, though.like the 150-600!
