Dear Haslo,

Thank you for your comprehensive reply. What subjects are you shooting and in what situations are you shooting them?

Kind regards,

I shoot practically everything in whatever situations come up. I'm currently in the middle of a project 365 (day 160 today) and I try to avoid doing the exact same thing twice. If I haven't shot something yet, odds are good that I'll try shooting it soon

Things I kind of maybe slightly specialize in are nighttime urban landscapes, street, nature, kid photos (the last one because of my own kids :-P). I still have to and want to learn a lot about astro, sports, portrait photography, mostly.

I use S-AF most of the time, in M, A and S modes and RAW, often with auto ISO unless I have a second and inclination to switch to something I prefer for the situation at hand. I have a MySet on the mode dial for C-AF with tracking, mostly used for flying birds and running kids so far.

Except for stock photography; I don't do that because I don't have to. I want to say something with my images, I don't want them to be a canvas for whatever somebody else has to say.

Great shots!  A set to be proud of for sure.  In one of the Hornets vs. Blitz shots did they catch 53 for the facemask infraction?

I would like to offer a huge thank you for members of the forum offering advice and help. I am now back button focus tracking and enjoying new skills.

Here's the latest evidence from the Shuttleworth Pageant this weekend and also bit.ly/1VJnJ3q

regards Phil

PS I should say there are 2-3 images on the link that are on my Nikon though easily seen on the EXIF
